LONDON, DECEMBER 2019 – Residence Inn, Marriott International’s global leader in the extended-stay segment, has today announced the opening of Residence Inn by Marriott London Tower Bridge, providing spacious suites in the heart of London.
Located in a quiet corner of Bermondsey Street, one of London’s most popular neighbourhoods, the hotel features 101 apartment-style suites and acts as a perfect base from which to explore the city. Brimming with colourful facades and cobbled streets, Bermondsey Street is one of London’s hidden gems. The street itself is lined with independent restaurants, artisan coffees shops, art galleries and boutiques; all of which can be found just a moment’s walk away from the hotel. Cultural attractions such as the White Cube gallery, Tower Bridge, Borough Market and The Shard are within walking distance, whilst London Bridge station is a short 15-minute walk providing fantastic transport links through London and beyond.
Catering to both business and leisure travellers, the property’s spacious one- and two- bedroom suites have been designed to create a home away from home experience with separate living, working and sleeping areas. Guests have access to fully functional kitchens in each of the five suite categories, as well as smart TVs, USB plug points and desk space for those looking to maximise their time during longer stays.
Complimentary breakfast is offered as well as extra perks, such as Residence Inn’s unique grocery delivery service, whereby guests can leave their grocery list at reception and return to a fully stocked fridge. A Grab’n’Go market is also available. Also onsite is a self-service laundry facility, a state-of the-art fitness centre available 24/7 and custom running routes that can be accessed via Map MyFitness. Guests are also welcome to bring pets with them during their stay with plenty of local parks and green spaces to enjoy.
A modern, sleek colour scheme and design can be seen throughout the property; alongside contemporary artwork from local South London artists highlighting the creative nature of the neighbourhood.
