Revenue School Class of 2023

Unlocking Outstanding Opportunities with Revenue School at Kew Green Hotels

At Kew Green Hotels, our commitment extends well beyond the delivery of excellent service for our guests and driving industry-leading returns for our hotel owners.

We are developing the future leaders of the hospitality industry.

Cultivating Talent

Revenue School is a specialised training program which paves the way for aspiring Revenue Managers, preparing our future leaders for an outstanding career in the Revenue Team or within our hotels.

In dedication to the growth and development of our team members across our business, Revenue School is open to anyone within our Commercial Hub and Head Office. In our Class of 2023, our program was extended to include Hotel Operations team members to support their journey towards leadership management roles.

A Comprehensive Learning Journey

The program is 12 months, comprising 10 Revenue Management Modules plus the completion of a revenue maximisation project and the IHG RMEC certification. To support our students throughout their journey, each one is paired with a dedicated mentor from the Revenue Team and receives guidance from the Director of Revenue.

Professional Qualifications

By graduating from Revenue School, students gain comprehensive insights into revenue management and its interconnection with all facets of the business. This knowledge is invaluable for those looking to pursue a career in Revenue Management or Hotel Management roles.

Upon successful completion, students receive both Kew Green certification and the prestigious IHG RMEC Certification, recognising their expertise in Revenue Management.

Projects That Make a Difference

Beyond the training program, the most successful projects will be launched by the graduating students across our business in 2024 to drive revenue and profit.

Special acknowledgement goes to the commitment of three students from Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre, who continued their journey with Revenue School even after this hotel migrated out of our managed hotel portfolio.

Demonstrating our commitment to training and development, one of these students, Jack Southall, Operations Manager received the coveted Best in Class Award for his Going Greener; Sustainable Group Reservations & Meetings and Events project.

Congratulations also goes to Ashley Holmes, Commercial Hub Specialist who also won ‘Best In Class’ for ‘Kew Good To Go’ as we were astounded by the projects that were presented and were unable to choose just one student!

By investing in our team’s growth and development, we are fostering a new generation of leaders within the hospitality industry exemplifying our dedication to excellence.

Our Revenue School is a testament to our dedication to nurturing future leaders in the hospitality industry. We take pride in investing in the next generation and offer our heartfelt congratulations to all our students on their impressive achievements.
