IHG recognise Kew Green excellence

Kew Green was amongst the award winners at the recent annual InterContinental Hotels Group Hotel Stars Award Ceremony, held in Berlin. The evening was a chance for IHG to reward hotels and people from the IHG family across Europe for their outstanding performance and contribution to the business, and the local community in which they operate.

We picked up two awards including the Food & Beverage Excellence Award for our concept restaurant, Stock Burger Co. at the Holiday Inn Brighton-Seafront, which is a joint initiative between Kew Green and IHG. Entrants for this award were not only judged on providing great service and top quality F&B, but on the investment of time and effort in creating a stand-out food concept. The restaurant increased total food revenue by over £250,000 YOY and has also been named as the Restaurant of Choice in Brighton four times by TripAdvisor.

Kew Green was also victorious in the Sales Excellence category, which rewarded Holiday Inn Norwich-North for having demonstrated outstanding performance and the delivery of exceptional reactive sales in the face of difficult, unforeseen circumstances.

In addition to these awards, we are also celebrating the success of scoring 7/7 in IHG’s Winning Metrics across the estate in 2016. These rigorous metrics are implemented to drive and reward best practice in key focus areas.
