Successful management of the Holiday Inn Cardiff – North M4, Jct. 32
On behalf of an Owner, Kew Green took on the management of an independent hotel that was under-invested, losing market share and receiving poor reviews.
Kew Green’s Capital Projects team were engaged to deliver a comprehensive refurbishment of the hotel, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, public areas and leisure club, with its own team of craftsmen.
The project was completed within 3 months and was delivered 30% cheaper than contract prices, including all brand requirements, to reopen the hotel under the Holiday Inn banner.
Management of four Ibis Styles hotels
Kew Green secured the management of these four branded budget hotels via a competitive process, demonstrating to the Owner our ability to improve top line revenue performance and EBITDA conversion, whilst also engaging to re-brand the hotels.
Achieving 43% increase in owners return and 16% in guest satisfaction.
The Richmond Hill Hotel was leased to Folio Hotels which went into administration in December 2009.
Kew Green Hotels took management over the hotel within 24hrs, secured the supply chain, implemented our processes and procedures and started to grow the revenues and profit performance.
We implemented an industry leading Guest Satisfaction Survey which helped identify areas of improvement and target capital expenditure requirements.
Owners returns have increased by nearly £1 million (43%), guest satisfaction scores by 16% and Kew Green has assisted the hotel complete refurbishment programme to enhance asset value.
