Kew Green Hotels Guest Safety Guide
At Kew Green Hotels, we are working hard to ensure that our hotels are doing all that they can to provide guests and employees a safe, welcoming and clean environment. Over half of our hotels remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing accommodation to essential workers meaning measures have been in place to ensure the hotels are following strict Government Guidance. In July, we re-opened the doors to all of our remaining hotels allowing us to welcome more critical workers and supporting essential businesses in getting back to business. With over 45 hotels from the brands you know and trust across the UK, you can be assured a safe stay. We are pleased to announce we have also been audited by the world leading inspection company, Bureau Veritas, and have passed with flying colours, giving you additional reassurance of the standards we have in place.
We are ready when you are ready, let’s move forward together!
**Please note, all of our hotels are following local Government guidance and we do ask that you check the restrictions in the area of the hotel before travelling, thank you**
Here are some of the measures in place at each of our hotels:
New queuing systems
A queuing system has been implemented at reception and food collection points with 2 metre floor stickers advising guests where to stand at a safe distance from each other. We have also implemented a strict rule that one individual/family is allowed in the lift at any one time, this is signposted and there are hand sanitising stations outside the lifts.
Contactless check-in and check-out process
We want to ensure that our employees and guests are kept safe which is why we have formed a contactless check-in and check-out process. Perspex screens have been placed on reception desks and debit/credit card machines are cleaned every hour. Key cards are also left at the end of the reception desk ready for guests to collect and are sanitised after every use.
Paperless check-out is in place, guests will be called prior to check-out to confirm any additional charges and invoices will be emailed to guests after departure.
Hand sanitising stations
Hand sanitising stations have been placed in all main areas of the hotel for guests to utilise. All high touch points are sanitised after every guest interaction or every hour depending on the usage including door handles, debit/credit card machines and pens. Pen boxes will also be provided and clearly labelled for those that are sanitised and used.
There will be increased cleanliness of bedrooms before arrival/after departure of guests. This includes disinfecting all touchpoints within the bedroom, all non-essential items have been removed from the bedrooms and are available on request and for guests staying more than one night, housekeeping services have been reduced to minimise the interaction of guests and employees but will be available on request.
Food and beverage services
Our restaurants are now open and following local Government guidance. Food ordering will be made via our Tabletop app which can be accessed by snapping the QR code on your table. Room service can also be ordered through the app and the QR code will be available in your room.
Breakfast service has resumed but if you would like to pre-order your breakfast please complete the order form provided the night before. You can either enjoy this in the restaurant or take advantage of our grab and go service. Collection point locations will be explained to guests upon check-in.
Safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority
Our employees have been fully equipped with the necessary PPE equipment to keep them and our guests safe. Perspex screens have been provided on reception desks to keep contact with customers minimal. Our employees have also been trained on maintaining a high standard of hygiene including hand sanitising after each interaction with a guest, rigorous cleaning procedures before and after each shift change and regular cleanliness upkeep within high traffic areas of the hotel. They have also been trained how to handle any suspected cases of COVID-19 within the hotel and how to keep guests safe if this did occur.
We are regularly reviewing Government guidance and continuing to train our employees on any new procedures issued where necessary.
