Kew Green is a specialist operator of full and limited service hotels. The company has a proven track record of working with internationally known brands, generating revenue and running hotel operations profitably. We currently operate a rapidly growing portfolio of hotels and are responsible for all aspects of a hotel’s operation from recruitment and training of staff to yield management, revenue maximisation and profit delivery.
Kew Green operates five world class internationally renowned brands; Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Express by Holiday Inn, Days Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott.
In assessing new site opportunities Kew Green chooses the optimum brand if indeed a brand is applicable for the location and project, negotiates the license agreement, interprets the brand standards, implements the standards and maximizes the ‘System’ resources. The management of the company has sustainable knowledge and experience of working to and delivering the exacting standards required of international brands.
The maximization of revenue from all market segments requires a well developed sales and marketing infrastructure. Brands do not, as many might expect, deliver all of the business. Without additional marketing expenditure and a well developed sales planning and implementation process the hotel is likely to underperform.
Over 50% of the revenue generated for any Global hotel brand hotel comes from outside of the central reservations and therefore needs to be actively pursued. Kew Green employs a high quality sales resource under the leadership of our Director of Sales to cover segments such as electronic and internet marketing, group or wholesale tour operator sales, local corporate contracts, aircrew sales, leisure marketing and conference sales. These sales executives work closely with the brand system channels, but also have a developed network of other local and national contacts which can be tapped directly for business.
Revenue management skills are vital to any modern hotel operation to improve levels of profitability. The formulation of revenue strategies, yield management and rate optimisation are skills that Kew Green are well versed with.
